How to Say Hello

A project initiated by Simona Ferrar to share information about How to Say Hello in different parts of the world

Presentation

Hello everybody and welcome to How to Say Hello!

How to Say Hello is a project I set up in order to get to know what movements people do when they say HELLO in different regions of the world. Since I believe this information can be useful to many people as well as fun to watch, I have set up this interactive blog with videos of some of the different physical interactions human beings have invented to say Hello.

In order to make this blog as complete as possible, you are warmly invited to send in your own video of How to Say Hello in your region of the world or in your social group. If you wish to take part in the project by sending a video of How to Say Hello in your city or country, please read the “Steps to Follow” post, and then just start filming and uploading your video clips.

Please note that, by sending a video to be part of this project, you accept the terms and conditions of its use. For more information about this, please enter the page “Terms and Conditions of Use”.

This blog was created within the context of the Geneva Sessions 2009, an interdisciplinary workshop organized by the Compagnie Gilles Jobin and coordinated by Marlon Barrios Solano, creator and producer of dance-tech.net.

Special thanks to Marlon Barrios for his excellent counselling during the setting up of this blog.
